Electro-muscular stimulation (EMS) uses electrical stimulation on the muscles. The muscles are stimulated by means of electrodes that are attached to a set of undergarments via a functional vest or belt. A total of eight muscle groups can be trained at once, so that 2.5 hours of training can be done in 20 minutes.
More muscle fibres are activated by training with EMS than with normal strength training. Your performance capacity increases, so that your fitness improves visibly and noticeably in a shorter time. An EMS training can be used, among other things, in rehabilitation or to reduce work and posture related complaints.
